About the Podcast

Dr Craig Wright is an Australian computer scientist who created the cryptocurrency Bitcoin. Or so he would have you believe. In fact, there is a plethora of evidence going back more than a decade that shows Wright to be nothing but a serial fraudster who, after years of failed attempts to be publicly recognised as Bitcoin’s creator, is now using law courts to force his way to being anointed as Satoshi Nakamoto, and the tens of billions of dollars that could come with it.

Wright has left a lengthy and expansive trail of lies, forgeries and failed pronouncements in his wake as he attempts to prove he created Bitcoin, all with the backing of a billionaire casino magnate. These have been documented in various places online over the years, but never before has the full incredible story has never been presented in its entirety.

Using a variety of sources, including courtroom testimony, public records and the experiences of those who were there at the time, crypto writer Mark Hunter and Bitcoin consultant Arthur van Pelt recount this modern-day tale of David versus Goliath, a story of underhand opportunism and brazen skullduggery that will leave you shaking your head in disbelief with every incredible twist.
