FRAUD – The Trillion-dollar Hoax That Nearly Destroyed Bitcoin
Arthur and I began this podcast with the aim of chronicling Craig Wright’s life and crimes in an easy-to-digest manner up to the Kleiman v Wright trial in 2021. We could not have imagined how the next three and a half years were going to play out, with Wright experiencing chastening defeats in multiple court cases, most notably in the COPA v Wright trial in 2024. These cases saw the number of forgeries and outright lies for which Wright was already famous explode in number, with previously unearthed and long-forgotten misdemeanours exposed.
In telling the tale through the podcast, we have had to leave out some truly staggering stories from Wright’s past that exemplify his shamelessness, incompetence and disregard for the rule of law. Even with our multiple bonus episodes, it has been impossible to do justice to the entirety of Wright’s chequered career through Dr Bitcoin, and so we are thrilled to reveal that we will be telling the full, grizzly story across not one, not two, but three books entitled FRAUD – The Trillion-dollar Hoax That Nearly Destroyed Bitcoin.
The COPA v Wright trial saw many of the lies Wright had been telling since 2009 summarily dispensed with, allowing us to settle once and for all litany of the allegations put to him by his critics (including us) since 2016. The time is right, therefore, to comprehensively expose Wright’s fraudulent Satoshi claim from its inception in the early 2010s to its ignominious end in 2024, featuring many stories you will know and many you won’t. When stitched together, they reveal a career dominated by possibly the most outrageous fraud and deception the British court system has ever seen.
Here’s the run down of our intended releases and the periods covered:
- Volume I (release date Q2 2025): 1976-2015
- Volume II (release date 2026): 2016-2018
- Volume III (release date 2027): 2019-2025
We’re aiming to have Volume I out by Q2 of 2025 in hardback, paperback, eBook and audiobook formats (with a very special narrator). eBooks and audiobooks will be for sale through this website as well as all the usual online channels (Amazon, iTunes, Audible etc). Physical copies will be purchasable through this website, but only for UK shipping addresses; all other regions will be served by our distribution partners. Full details will follow, as will pricing.
